Creek Technologies Company (CreekTech) is seeking a full-time, on-site Sr. Contracts Manager supporting the CreekTech’s Headquarters team in Beavercreek, Ohio. The contracts portfolio for this position will include a variety of contract types, with different Department of Defense and Federal Civilian customers thereby providing a diverse set of contracts and activities to support. These activities include IT infrastructure modernization, operations and sustainment; advanced education and training; solution design, development and sustainment services; and the delivery of business process services and more.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to drive positive results for the business, work collaboratively with various departments and external partners, and establish strong connections with the Department of Defense and other federal government clients. This includes utilizing contracting and business acumen to create and execute innovative, ethical, and profitable contracting strategies. This individual will play a crucial role in the development, negotiation, and implementation of solutions that not only benefit the company, but also align with the values and goals of our government customers.
• Provides Government contractual expertise and leadership to CreekTech HQ • Builds and maintains relationships with the Government Contracting Officer • Negotiates price, terms, and conditions • Helps internal stakeholders recognize and understand contract modifications, promptly informing the Government, and guiding internal staff in creating effective strategies to address these matters. • Negotiates various business agreements • Participates in the review and development of proposals, especially the Contracts Volume • Performs OCI screenings across the company and develops OCI Risk Mitigation Plans when necessary • Performs risk assessments, and makes recommendations and implements mitigation approaches • Interprets contract terms and handles subsequent issues • Actively participates in client meetings and reviews • Applies business acumen and Government acquisition knowledge to develop opportunity shaping and negotiation strategies • Proactively advises management of contractual rights, obligations, and risks • Supports and leads negotiations • Ensures compliance with CreekTech Contracts policies and guidelines as well as with US Government regulations • Influences internal and external stakeholders through use of facts, policies, and acquisition best practices • Prepares and administers Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, and Subcontracts • Reviews and resolves with subcontractor issues affecting subcontract performance and ensures subcontractor compliance with legal requirements, company policies, and customer objectives • Prepares and disseminates information regarding subcontract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation and termination • Supports contract close-out activities
• A demonstrated understanding and strong working knowledge of US Government Acquisition Regulations • Adept at contract analysis • The aptitude to work on diverse contractual issues simultaneously • The ability to frame, draft and negotiate agreements • Excellent presentation and communication skills • Strong work ethic with a commitment to ensure that all deadlines are met on time and with a high degree of quality • The skill to be persuasive while maintaining a positive customer and/or teammate relationship
• 5+ years of experience reviewing and negotiating US Government and commercial agreements
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security clearance desired
